Okay, so I think this is a first – a self tanning dry oil from St Tropez. Just when you think there’s nothing left to do with a self-tan, this pops up, all full of golden shimmer that washes away leaving you with bronzed skin. St Tropez Self Tan Luxury Dry Oil smells lovely – there’s no typical tan smell, instead a very pretty scent of lemongrass and grapefruit.
The shimmer acts as a guide for streak-free tanning – if you’re by a beach or heading for something summery and glam, leave it as it is, otherwise it washes away in the shower. Apparently, the dry oil helps to keep skin nourished with none of the drying elements that some self tans can have – I haven’t had time to put it to the test yet.

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
Anyway, St Tropez Self Tan Luxury Dry Oil is scheduled for a March launch, for £25. I like anything innovative and putting a self tan within a dry oil can’t have been easy technically, and I love the nourishing oil element.
