When I initially got the pictures of the Sleek Garden of Eden Palette, I thought the palette casing had the mock snake and not just the box – but it is just the box. However, there are no disappointments inside.
The palette is even better in real life than in the pictures with a mix of matte, sparkle and shimmer shadows. I think, from swatching, the shimmers are what works best for Sleek – I found the sparkles quite dry and not actually very sparkly.
So, as you can see, it’s a real mix of lively shades with some muted browns to bring it down. Shades from bottom clockwise are: Gates of Eden, Eve’s Kiss, Paradise on Earth, Python, Forbidden, Flora, Three of Life, Fauna, Evergreen, Fig, Adam’s Apple and Entwined. Great value for £7.99. There are also two new mascaras heading our way; Lethal Length and Full Fat Lash, both £6.99 and launching at the same time as the palette in February.

Love the first row, the taupes are gorgeous, great that they included a dark shade, the lighter shades can be layered on the dark green which will give them depth, great little palette. As to the Full Fat Lash and Lethal Length mascaras, they have already been released and are available in Superdrug (where I bought them), they became my go to mascaras, perfect at curling and separating lashes, but both have the same effect.x
I want this palette just for the names!! But still unsure about the greens…. Decisions decisions….
