You have to know your Japanese manga and anime or maybe even cosplay to have a clue what this is about (and I can never say that I don’t learn things every day writing this blog!) but it doesn’t really matter one way or another because I don’t think you’ll have seen anything like it before – I haven’t.
See? It’s quite some packaging! It’s called the Miracle Romance Collection and it’s out in Japan to celebrate 20 years of Sailor Moon and Miracle Romance; two manga series. Enough to say there’s a talking cat, a magical warrior and a moon princess at the Sailor Moon end of things; and from there it’s pretty much unfathomable. However, if you like Sailor Moon then it’ll be important for you to know the colours of the nails depict the five Sailor Moon girls from Sailor Moon R and the bottles themselves are amulets or ‘transformations’. #baffled.

I was a huge fan of Sailor Moon when I was in elementary school (got all 15 volumes of manga and watched through all of the anime and had some of memorabilia thanks to my mom’s colleague) but I actually never heard of the volume of “Miracle Romance” manga. All I know that is the Sailor Moon theme song Moonlight Densetsu (moonlight legend) ends with Miracle Romance (more like “mi-ra-ku-ru-ro-man-su”…never occured to me those are English until I was an adult).
