[unpaid/sample] I think the beauty questions I am asked the most is about tubing mascaras. If you don’t know what that is I can explain. Tubing works differently to regular mascaras by using film forming polymers that ‘wrap’ the lashes individually. While you may not get the huge drama effect, what you will get is long, spiky lashes that look dark and immaculate. To remove tubing mascara, you need to use a warm, damp or wet cloth to press against the polymers so that they dissolve and break away from the lashes – it’s a very, very simple process and the simpler it is, the better the quality of mascara. I’ve had a few tubing mascaras over the years that have been hell on earth to remove but RUM Wrap Party is super easy.
Look at the brush! This is my perfect, individual lash coating, uncomplicated kind of a brush that allows you to apply your product from root to tip regardless of lash length. My lashes aren’t what could be called especially long or even particularly abundant but they look precise and long when I’m wearing RUM Wrap Party. I don’t like fat mascara brushes because they seem to just blanket coat my lashes with no separation and yes, they’ll go high but I’d rather have the intensity and precision.
RUM Wrap Party (in black – there is a navy that I have yet to try) stayed this perfect and precise all day. Exactly like this. It didn’t smudge, flake or budge in any way at all.
RUM Wrap Party is created by Jo Jones, an established and creative beauty PR, Sali Hughes, journalist, author and everything else and Sam Chapman who you will probably know for her incredible beauty tutorials on YouTube. It’s apparently a limited run (I hope not) with £1 from each sale going to Beauty Banks (founded by Sali and Jo). If you’ve never used a tubing mascara, Wrap Party is where to start, and if you have, prepare for the best tubing mascara you’ve ever used – not joking. It’s £22 HERE.
