Revlon Parfumerie Polish
Revlon Parfumerie Polish

Style.com (image above, page HERE) reports on the new Revlon Parfumerie Nail Enamels taking scented polish to a whole new level. Forget about bubblegum and sweetie scents; what Revlon are bringing to the table is scents such as Wintermint, Italian Leather, Spun Sugar, French Lavender Soap and Surf Spray. It’s like nothing we’ve seen before in the nail category. Separated into categories such as Sweets and Spices, Fresh, and Fruity and Floral, even the presentation is something we haven’t seen before. I have no clue when they’ll enter the UK market but US bloggers are raving about them (actually I did see one review that says they smell like Febreeze fragrances, but I don’t have a reference point for that so not sure if it’s a good or a bad thing!). Come on Revlon!

Revlon Color Burst Matte Lipsticks
Revlon Color Burst Matte Balms

As if that wasn’t enough, ColorBurst (image source HERE) is entering a new phase, with matte lip balms in stick style. And if that’s not enough, how about the Revlon ColorBurst Lacquers – the polar opposite to the new Mattes with a high slick finish. These seem to be undergoing a soft launch as they haven’t appeared on the Revlon website (mind you, nor have the polishes) but I guess the USP is that they’re matte balms. I don’t think anyone else has managed matte in a balm formula yet. The packaging is much like Clinique Chubby, but when it comes to the Lacquers, they’re in a metallic, high shine finish stick. Again, I don’t know when these will launch – 2014 at the earliest I should think, but Revlon! I like it!
