The first time I used this oil I was really less than impressed: my hair looked limp and kind of oily. It wasn’t until I started reading other blogger reviews that I realised I’d really gone wrong some where. So, I went back to basics and actually, uh, read the label. Of course, I’d put far too much on when in fact you only need a couple of drops after blow drying or as a daily smoother. When I’d got the amount right, wow! I find it really hard to get a good shine on since I’ve started dyeing my hair, but this time around, it’s truly shiny! The blurb says it’s an instant frizz tamer and helps repair and protect the hair against damage (from heat, environment and chemical exposure), but one use isn’t going to prove any of that. What it does prove though is that the oil gives amazing shine, even to my frizzy, dyed locks. Love it. It’s £22 at John Lewis.
