Okay, so I’ve given this a go – instant love! It’s got the traditional Nivea smell so you need to already like that scent, but it’s not in any way overpowering. When I smoothed it over my body under the shower – just apply it like you would shower gel or body wash – it immediately moisturises. There’s just no doubt that this does what it says on the tin; my skin felt instantly softer and hydrated, and it didn’t leave my shower slippy either.
I know that some have mentioned that there is a Lush bar that does a similar job but from the sounds of it this is better formula-wise as it leaves no residue and no slip. You don’t get a slick of moisturiser – you get more what I would say light hydration; certainly enough to make a noticable difference that lasted for several hours (although not all day long). It’s £3 or so very well spent, in my book.

Sounds good!!
Oh dear lord I need this in my life. Moisturising feels like such a chore!
Hi Jane,
I am going to assume this will be available to buy from Boots or Superdrug. Do you know if this available now?
Thank you,
Emily Jayne
Both I should think and all supermarkets.. will be everywhere x
I love the sound of this but unfortunately I only have a bath at the moment. Do you think this will only work in the shower or the bath too?
yes I think it would be fine in the bath..I’d do a standing coverage and then a dip, then out! It wasn’t slippy in my shower, but I’d be careful in the bath though x
It definitely going on my to buy list. Hopefully it will encourage my husband to moisturise because he hates rubbing cream on after a bath… Men! X
This sounds fantastic! Will have to give it a go! xx
Sounds nice! I think Lush also do an argan oil skin conditioner that works in a similar way (it’s not a bar but a tub of cream).
