Now I’ve had a chance to play about properly with the new NARS Nail Polish Formula I have to say I like it so much better than the old formula. I can’t often get excited about new formulas – it’s a little bit of a ‘whatever’ subject because nine times out of ten you can’t really tell any difference, but not so here. The polish is thicker – more of a ‘gel’ effect although they don’t claim that, with a wider brush that delivers a good level of polish to the nail.

I think I’ve said in previous posts that a thicker formula is definitely the way forward – polishes that don’t use it are starting to seem fiddly and thin in comparison and there is a clear dividing line between those that do and those that don’t. Personally, I find thicker polishes easier to use – although professional nail artists like the fluidity and versatility of thinner formulas. To get to the specifics, the NARS New Nail Polish Formula is designed to to improve flexibility, durability, wear and gloss, as well as prevent discolouration with UV protection. They’re already in stock at SpaceNK for £15 each HERE.
In the swatch above you can see: Arabesque, Trouville, Fearless, Ithaque and Schiap. There are now 40 NARS nail polishes – some newcomers, like Ithaque, and others already existing.

I haven’t tried the new formula, but these shades are right up my alley! <3
Is Nars reformulating a bunch of their products? I heard about the lip glosses, but not the nail polishes! I like hearing about the UV protection and no staining, that’s always a pain >0<
Just a question: i am hunting for the hot pink colour that is the middle swatch. If im not mistaken its called “fearless”? Is it a limited edition? Trying to find it online and my searches are fruitless even on SpaceNK website. 🙁
P.s. Thank you for the blog. Im ur daily reader
