It took about 3 seconds to be completely smitten by the MustaeV Lip Palette above. I like a lip palette for a leisurely makeover when you can just mix colours and play around with tones. I haven’t done that for a very long time, I must admit, but the possibilities are endless, particularly with the white shade that lets you lighten and brighten any of the other shades.
See what I mean? These shades are all from the top row of the MustaeV Lip Palette and they’re so vibrant and alive. The finish is a creme so there is a nice sheen to it that gives lips a softened look.
This swatch is the bottom row – I think it’s an excellent colour edit overall for a ten pan palette. I know so little about the MustaeV brand, other than it was founded in 2009 by professional Korean makeup artists for other professional makeup artists. It’s not a brand we can get here in the UK at the moment.
I have to also give a little shout out to the MustaeV Glazing Lip Gloss – deliciously non-tacky, lip lighting gloss that’s an absolute joy to use.
This one is a peachy shade flecked with golden highlights – it’s so pretty on its own or over a more saturated lip colour to bring it to life.
I’m so pleased to have discovered MustaeV – come on now, somebody in the UK get on the trail! We can order from the US site HERE – the gloss is $18 and the palette (with brush) is $50.
