There has already been a massive Facebook buzz about this September launch palette from MUA. Actually, it’s rather beautiful so I can see why. I’m not sure at this stage how much it will be but nothing from MUA usually goes over £5 so I’d guess at around that price which is pretty good for ten shades.
As you can see (it’s gloomy and rainy so my camera is throwing flash onto this and bleaching it slightly) they look like little clouds of colour; you need to build them, particularly the light shades which are nuances on a theme.
Here it is under artificial light which shows them a bit more strongly. The pigment isn’t amazing which is why you need to build the shades but for architectural toned smoky eyes, it is so pretty. The whole palette makes me want to paint the rooms in my house those colours – it could be straight from the Farrow & Ball paint chart.
Watch out for it coming up in September – if you love matte and you love smokey, you’ll love this.

It’s a shame it doesn’t seem to have the pigmentation of some of their other palettes, like the Undressed palette – it does look very pretty though.
Been waiting for this palette for seems like forever. I’m a big lover of MUA, and even though I know the mattes aren’t as great as others, I still have to have this. For the price, I know I’ll be happy.
I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on this palette, I like the fact that they’re all matte shades since most MUA palettes tend to have a lot of shimmery shades and very few mattes.
