It’s no secret that Melvita is a favourite brand of mine – I haven’t come across anything yet that I haven’t liked. This Zesty Body Wash is no exception and I wish my blog had smell-o-vision because it’s quite simply the orange-iest orange thing I’ve ever smelled! More orangey than an orange! Actually, it’s a mix of orange and lemon and an absolute smack of citrus.. summer showers were made for this! It doesn’t launch til July but look out for it – truly a recommend.
Melvita L’Or Bio Extraordinary OilNext up is Nature’s Gold Extraordinary Oil – actually already a best-seller in the Melvita stores and I quite see why. It’s a beautiful combination of skin loving oils, from Argan through to Inca Inchi and the minute it’s on your skin, any tightness or dryness is gone. It smells a bit holidayish – a blend of bergamot, lemon, orange, jasmine fig and vanilla.
You can use it on your hair although I haven’t done that yet – I’m very tempted because I’d love my hair to smell of this! I’ve been using it on my hands and it gives the skin a lovely sheen – with NO glitter – so perfect for people like me who don’t like to sparkle and also absolutely beautiful over a tan for that supple gleam. Again, another high recommend and this time it is out now for £25, HERE.

I’ve loved Melvita for years (they used to stock it in SpaceNK 20+ years ago) – the Putney shop has sadly closed, but the shop in Covent Garden is great… Melvita UK have stopped stocking the Apicosma skincare range which is great for sensitive skin, so I have to buy mine from mondebio.co.uk – a great website for all things French and organic!
I love l’Or Bio, it’s a very good organic oil.
What would you say is the overriding scent of this oil? I love lemon, orange and fig but dislike bergamot and vanilla so it could go either way for me!
I think there is quite a lot of bergamot. x
