Melvita Plumping Rose Duo Serum

I’m slightly annoyed that the Melvita Plumping Rose Duo Serum is for first wrinkles – that’s me out and it IS a lovely serum. Unusually, it’s a bi-phase serum so you have to give it a good old shake to mix the oil and the water. A blend of rose petals and rose hips (packed with vitamins) in Damask Rose water make it smell as pretty as it looks. In fact, it’s charming – not a sugary rose but more green and fresh than that.

There is always a bit in every release that says something like ’90 out of 100 women thought their skin looked blue or whatever’ and sure enough, it’s the same here, with ‘8 out of 10 women saw an immediate increase in skin radiance’ which rings absolutely true to me because sure enough, me and my second, maybe even third, wrinkle stage saw a lovely softening effect.

For younger skin, Melvita Plumping Rose Duo Serum is a brilliant first foray into anti-ageing; and at £25 it’s not knocking on the door of the price of many premium ‘first wrinkles’ cream by any means. Use it under a night cream or as a light alternative to facial oil. It doesn’t launch til June but I’d highly recommend.
