Maybelline Superstay 14 Hour Mega Watt Lipstick

14 hour lipstick? I’m not sure how that’s even possible without superglue, but still – there is enough pigment in these hyper brights that I can well believe Maybelline Superstay 14 Hour Mega Watt Lipstick could  hang around for probably longer than you want them to. The shades, Flash of Fuchsia, Burst of Coral, Neon Pink and Red Rays are described as electric and they sure are!

See? If you love a bright lip, look no further – the formula is very light on the lip given the intensity and staying power and at £6.99 each you can’t really go wrong with these. There are also some Mega Watt Superstay Gel Nail shades (Lime Me Up, Orange Punch and Pink Volt) that I love the consistency of.

Above is Lime Me Up and Uptown Blue (which I think is existing) – both are punchy colours with a big shine.

Lime Me Up is actually more grassy to my eye than lime (that’s a good thing!) while Uptown Blue is the perfect holiday swimming pool colour for toes.

I’ve just checked Boots and these don’t seem to have gone on-line yet, but keep an eye out because it will be any day now.

The pink shade has literally made me drool. Good god it’s beautiful.

  4. Such gorgeous colours! What is the wear time like on the nail polishes? I saw Lisa Eldridge love the Maybelline Superstay in the originals, but how did they feel on the lips?

I haven’t had time to test out the polish yet, and I really don’t want to take any lipstick to 14 hours so I removed after testing the colour. It feels light.. quite fruity in fragrance and not slippy like gloss.

Hi Jane, sorry for off topic question but where did you get that lovely bracelet?? XO

if you mean the star one, it was a gift so I don’t know where it came from! The other one was from Fenwick in Bond Street x

  6. I hope these lipsticks aren’t as dry as the Superstay ones I bought last year, especially ‘Stay with me coral’, which, funnily enough, I was wearing today as the weather was ‘beach weather’ in France today. I love the colour but what a dry lipstick! And it doesn’t stay 14 hours, because I do eat sometimes! But I don’t want a lipstick to stay that long anyway..
