A tiny squeeze of Dream Nude Air Foam

Partially blended

Maybelline Dream Nude Air Foam Blended

While I genuinely believe there is no real need to spend a fortune on foundations any more as the less expensive brands have upped their game in terms of formulations, this moussy foundation at £8.99 wasn’t right for me. Mixing air, mineral pigment and water, the result is a wet-when-spread foam that turned out after blending a little on the dry side for my liking. It’s also quite hard to tell how much you need – I squirted out far too much initially. That said, if your skin is oily, I think it could well fare better. It’s got SPF16 and Vitamin E, does feel phenomenally light on the skin, and worth a go for the novelty of the formula, but for me, not a keeper. I was surprised that there is virtually no discerable smell to it.
