A bit more Maybelline today with the arrival of the new shades of Maybelline Color Sensational Blushed Nudes Lipstick. Straight away they reminded me of the D&G lipsticks that I reviewed earlier. I did a comparison swatch and while they look very similar shades in the bullet, they’re not actually that similar in reality. I thought I had a good dupe going there for a moment!
The time is definitely right for these pink shades – they’re very fresh and exactly what is needed now that days are a little longer and there is actually some sunshine (if you’re lucky!). The colours from top to bottom are: Fairly Bare, More To Adore, Pink Fling and Tip Top Tulle.
I’ve swatched beside a couple of the D&Gs so you can see there are colour palette similarities with More To Adore, but they’re not a match intensity wise. However, the Maybelline Color Sensational Blushed Nudes Lipsticks are £6.99 each. They’re nice and sheeny, quite comfortable in the wear and a mid-level pigment. You can find them HERE.
