There are three new Maybelline Color Tattoo shades; 24 Carat Gold, Timeless Black and the one you see above, Light In Purple. It’s Light In Purple that’s really of interest to me because it’s a reflective pearl infused shade which means that results shift with the light.

If you use Light In Purple alone it’s a vivid metallic light blue shade (and incidentally, the new gold colour above is the goldest gold I’ve ever seen – I’d lay down a challenge to find a golder gold!).

So here they are side by side.

And, here’s what happens when you add the transformer over gold.. a beautiful, shimmering gilt colour. It’s a very exciting product and a fabulous addition to your make-up bag if you love experiment with colours.
I’d have to recommend that you try the combinations on your hand first because there is no real way to know quite how your base shade will be ‘transformed’.
These are out now for £4.99 each.

Wow that is one interesting shade! The high street brands continue to innovate and impress!
The Light in Purple is going to be hunted down, I can see that as a great smokey eye base colour.
