It’s so easy to forget that we have a UK Mary Quant shop (off the King’s Road) in London because they do no press or outreach at all. However, I spotted these cute little make up bags with Eyeshadow, Blush, Highlighter and Gloss to go with it.
There are two different colourways (personally, I prefer the black on red) but I have no idea if they stock them in the UK branch (I’ve taken these images from the Japanese site) because of the above mentioned total silence! I can’t see why they wouldn’t.
It’s worth checking though, if you’re passing – Mary Quant make-up is really popular in Japan – it’s got a traditional British heritage but a totally Japanese spin. I can’t help thinking that it’s crazy they don’t do any outreach at all when we’re all so keen to follow Japanese trends and there is such an upsurge in interest.
