If you’ve ever been on the hunt for the perfect, nude-toffee shade of gloss, it’s here. I’ve never used the Make Up For Ever Plexi-Gloss before and I am instantly in deep regret because they’re incredible!
The shade I have here is 104 – it reminds me of older-style Stila shades of nude – and it’s literally perfect for me. You can probably tell that I’m excited to have this. When I first went to the USA, I had two major questions about the women presenters I saw on TV there – first, how did they get their boobs to look so kind of uniformly round (foam bras, which believe it or not, we didn’t have here then!) and how did they get that neutral, honeyed lip, because it just wasn’t a trend in the UK at the time. So, 104 (Brown Beige) Make Up For Ever Plexi-Gloss reminds me of exactly that look that I was desperate to emulate which is still as gorgeous now. I hestitate to say Kardashian lip, but it kind of is. It’s £16 HERE.
The tip, incidentally, has been nibbled – it’s designed like that to collect the perfect amount of gloss every time *cough*.
