[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] If there’s any one thing to get you in a spring mood, beauty wise, it’s got to be the MAC x Richard Quinn collection. What a joy – the best collaboration I think MAC has done in a long time. It’s so joyful and has plenty of attention to detail and ‘extra miling’ within this collection – I was grinning at the lipsticks when I lined them up for photography.

MAC x Richard Quinn

Fashion designer, Richard Quinn, has a signature style of clashing florals (he likes to throw in some black latex too) and these lipsticks are an absolute example of that with the outer packaging completely different to the inside lipsticks.

You can see the latex referencing in the background but otherwise, just a burst of beautiful flowers. This post is picture heavy by the way – just couldn’t delete any of them.

I’m having to send you around the houses a little for these matte lipsticks – they’re almost completely sold out but I’ve found stock at MAC of Vamp-Tastic (first on left) HERE and stock of at Selfridges of Coral Haze (hard right) HERE and they’re all £24. As far as I’m aware, this is a Selfridges/MAC exclusive but I’m guessing that MAC stores will have it so you could try your luck there.

You will have better luck if you opt for this special edition with glorious yellow roses on the outer packaging, geometric detail on the casing and a rose repeat on the upper part of the case.

It’s pretty special in the suit-all shade matte Mehr and it’s £28 HERE. Spring birthdays – make your list!!

Next up is the silky fabric coated Powder Blush in Solar Sunrise/Solar Sunset – probably the least interesting to me personally because I much prefer a creme blush. There’s a stunning Extra Dimension too in this exact packaging if that’s of more interest – it’s £34 HERE, but if you prefer the bronze/coral blush, it’s HERE.

Again, it’s the packaging that’s stolen my heart on the four gel liners for creating graphic eyes – shades are Mint Crush (pastel green), Lav-It (pastel lavender), Incorruptible (white) and Gilde Or Die (black). They’re £22 HERE.

So, the shades from bottom to top are: Mint Crush and Incorruptible liners, Vamptastic, Rose Daydream, Mega Magenta and Coral Haze matte lipsticks and finally the blush, Solar Sunrise/Solar Sunset. What do you think?
