If you like your shadows deep and moody, then the MAC Rocky Horror Show Riff-Raff Palette will have all boxes ticked.

As you can see, it’s all kinds of smokey and sultry – with some uplighting shades if you want them. Personally, I can’t see how to do this palette with the red lipsticks, but I’ll look out for a tutorial and hope for the best!
So, shades from bottom to top are: Oh Rocky!!! (frost), Crystal Violet (frost), Blackberry (matte), Graphic Style (pearl), Heavy, Black and Pendulous (frost) and Carbon Black (matte). I am mulling the name Heavy, Black and Pendulous and not finding any words quite yet but my bemused face is on.

The MAC Rocky Horror Show Riff-Raff Palette launches online on 23rd October and freestanding MAC stores on 31st – there’s no info suggesting it is going on counters. The palette price is £38.50.

Love that first photo! I’m hopefully going to get one of the lipsticks if they don’t sell out like the collections usually do. I like the colours but it’s more for the packaging as I have a thing for RHPS lol
Heavy, black and pendulous is a line from the film/stage show – the Criminologist/Narrator says “It is true there were dark storm clouds, heavy, black and pendulous, towards which they were driving…” There is also callback from the audience before that particular phrase of “Describe your balls” for added amusement among those in the know!
I’m looking forward to next week’s MAC Brooke Shields’ Palette. Will you be doing a review before its launch, Jane?
I like the colours of the matte shades, but like you I can’t imagine this working all that well with a bold red lip x

I love this palette but still don’t know if I will purchase it. The colours look great, with a lot of combinations.
Oooo tough call. I wasn’t sure about this one, I saw the colours and thought I’ll either love them or I’ll be indifferent. Sadly I’m indifferent but thanks for the swatches. I’ll prob just spend £40 on eyes shadows I rewlly want rather than their made up palettes.
I think Rocky Horror Picture Show was the first movie I went to where the audience was Cosplay. I loved the midnight showings of this movie in theaters!
*throws toast*
I really like the look of this palette. I think I could make it work with red lipstick. The top three shades would be great with red, The only shade I wouldn’t put with red is the blue probably, for fear of actually looking like Frank N Furter.
