Maybelline Dream Touch Blush in 02

I’m kind of obsessed with this beautiful blush – it looks as though it is going to be far too pale for me but it’s got a suit-all quality to it that isn’t really obvious in the pot. I did some filming with L’Oreal in the summer with friend and make-up artist, Kenneth Soh, and he used this pale peachy shade on every single skin-tone from super-pale right up to dark and it looked good on everyone. There really aren’t many products that are so versatile, and having started off with a Maybelline blush in a much more pinky shade, the changing light and my skin tone in winter means it’s just a little bit too bright now. This one, in the horribly unimaginatively named 02, is perfect. I always apply it with a brush and it blends beautifully with a very slight sheen. As you can see, I’m half way through the pot already.

  1. Going to show my ignorance here, but what’s the difference between these ones and the Maybelline ones? They look really similar! Are the shades different? xx

I’ve had this for about a month and always thought it was too pale for me. I wore it at the wknd when I’d fake tanned my face and contoured it with some creme bronzed and was pleasantly surprised cinteresting to hear it suits all skin tones!
