Right, it’s time to talk about LOLA! This British brand has probably stayed off our beauty radars because until now, it hasn’t been sold in the UK. However, it’s making a grand entrance in a few weeks’ time launching into Marks & Spencer Your Beauty at the end of August. From the 307 strong product range, I have a few bits and bobs to show you now.

From what I’ve seen so far, it’s looking rather lovely. Above is a selection of satin shadows – there’s a little bit of glimmer in the green shade making it spot on for an autumn pick.

But, I think that the matte lipsticks are going to be a massive draw for this range. Take a look at the orange shade (Cheeky Cherry) swatched:

That is one HIGH pigment, super-bold lipstick!

I don’t think I’ve honestly ever seen such an orange nail polish (going straight on my nails tonight!) as Tango Mango! Watch it sell out in a flash.

LOLA Eye Duo

This is the only duo I have here, but I’m really looking forward to seeing some other shades.

And, a couple of the powder blushes, looking a little on the safe side, but that seems to be the ‘thing’ of LOLA… incredibly wearable with some major colour flash surprises. I guess this is what every brand hopes to achieve – something for absolutely everyone. LOLA takes its inspiration from make-up artist palettes and is priced between £8 and £26, so it’s not unaffordable.

Watch this space for more LOLA info and look out for the #whoisLOLA hashtag on Twitter over the summer.
