Jo Loves White Rose & Lemon Leaves

White Rose & Lemon Leaves

If you are a regular reader of BBB, then you’ll know that my olfactory heart belongs to this brand. From the simple packaging, to the innovation of the fragrances, I’m just all about this.

Jo Loves White Rose & Lemon Leaves initially does exactly what it says on the tin. On first use, you get a waft of rose followed by a ting of lemon.. which should be very odd but isn’t. I don’t know, to be honest, that I can distinguish the smell of a white rose (it’s the Norma Jean variant if you know your roses) from any other colour rose – do they even smell different? But, it’s not one of those blousy, old fashioned roses – it has more freshenss than that.

The dry down sees Jo Loves White Rose & Lemon Leaves change and hold on to the rose, but lose some of the lemon. Instead, it’s replaced with the warmth of amber. So, it’s woody, lemony and rosy all at the same time; a fresh scent but a warm skin scent, complex but oh, so simple. My nose should be confused, but it’s not. This is just all things right.

Jo Loves White Rose & Lemon Leaves goes on sale on 1st March (perfect timing) and starts at £45. The Jo Loves site is HERE and I’d strongly recommend exploring the range with the Shot Box Sample set HERE which is £38 and includes Pomelo, Green Orange & Coriander, Gardenia, A Shot of Thai Lime Over Mango, A Shot of Oud Over Mango, A Shot of Muguet & Cedar, No.42 The Flower Shop, A Shot of Fresh Sweet Peas, Pink Vetiver and Shards of Cedar & Red Thyme to get your olfactory senses excited.

If only they would ship to Australia…not sure why but I can’t get any fragrances now from the UK. Only samples from the USA which come with no problem.
