I posted on these a month or so ago, but now I have more details and a new picture to show you. The thing I’m most interested in is the ‘Anna Effect’ topcoat that apparantly gives a ‘tweed’ effect on nails thanks to microscopic fibres – tweed nails? I love that idea! Okay so the colours go as follows:
Anna Effect – a fibred top-coat to give special effect finish;
Miss Wu – a limestone, warm grey that dries matte with a subtle chrome sheen;
Brigitte – a warm pink in honour of the screen siren, Brigitte Bardot;
Sophia – a mushroom taupe as a tribute to Sophia Loren;
Veronica – a blue based, ox-blood red – an homage to Veronica Lake.
The collection won’t launch here til May or so, but when they do you’ll be able to buy as a set or individually for £9.95 (Anna Effect, £11.95).

OH! I’ve been waiting on these polishes for months since I read about them on the ALU blog.
Now I have to wait till MAY! Gah! Not impressed.
Am a little hesitant about Anna Effect.. I will definitely be waiting to see exactly what the tweed effect looks like. xx
Gonna keep a look out for these, can’t wait to check them out. Jason Wu’s products are wonderful.
Lovely! Too bad can’t find these in my country 🙁 sniffles
I love tweed effects on make-up (like the Les tissages de Chanel blush) but it’s an interesting idea to have it on nails, and it must look really attention-grabbing!
