I genuinely did not think I’d ever revisit matte nails but this shade, Vintage Wine, from the Isadora Velvet Matt Nails collection had me hooked from the moment it fell out of the padded envelope. It was on my nails within moments (as you’ll see from the slightly dodgy picture below!).

Honestly, thank goodness this brand is launching onto FeelUnique later this month.

Matt nail polishes tend to need a bit of prep beforehand – if I hadn’t been in such a rush, I’d definitely have applied a ridge filler first and done a bit of tidying. Keep your eyes peeled for Vintage Wine – it’s a perfect winter glam shade.
