Isadora Face Sculptor

There aren’t many brands that are hard to find in the UK these days but I do get asked often what are the best brands to look for when you’re abroad. I’m always happy to feature Isadora even though we can’t get it here in the UK because it is one of the better ones to keep your eyes peeled for in Europe.

One of their newer products is the Nude Face Sculptor – a contour, bronzer and highlighter – but also look out for Isadora brushes which are beautiful quality.  Personally, I can’t be bothered to contour, but I’d use this for the individual elements (and maybe be the accidental contourist!). If you’re wondering about the next generation contouring – strobing – it’s basically contouring with light instead of shade and is just common or garden highlighting remarketed.

Garden highlighting-haha. Yupp, I laughed when I started hearing strobing being thrown around. This is not the 70’s, I am not a light technician at the local discotheque-I will not “strobe” highlighter on my cheekbones! 😉 I do so love when you feature Isadora as it’s readily available here in Sweden but I tend to ignore it even if there are some really good products in the range. I blame the packaging. I’m a packaging snob.

  4. Great product for travelling! No need to carry all the individual bits…not that I can be bothered contouring either!

I like the Anne Tyler reference, Jane 🙂

thank you! (secretly was pleased with myself for that :-))))

  6. I miss Isadora, Walgreens here in the US used to carry it, but Isadora pulled out from the US market.

What other brands have a contour, highlight and (blush?) shade in one compact that is sold in the US? I love to do a bit of contouring but in a natural way. Not so it looks like it’s for a magazine shoot or some other unnrealistic outcome. It raises the cheekbones, gets rid of a double chin, slims the nose and just really gives a really pretty glow around the eyes when you highlight them. All light hand and blending thoroughly are the key.
