e.l.f. O Face Satin Lipstick

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] We’re back in the land of realistic pricing with these new satins from e.l.f. and very pleasant they are, too. There are 10 shades so far for this creamy feeling new launch. I prefer a satin finish because it’s just a bit light catchy which is helpful.

I had quite a job photographing these because they’re magnetized for weight and clicky lids and they were roaming around like mad! This is how far apart I had to have them otherwise they spun about or gathered together. But, obviously the weight and matte packaging are contributing to a more luxurious look and feel than usual for e.l.f.

There’s no skimping on pigment, that’s for sure. From bottom to top: No Regrets, Pleased, Vocal and Drive. Wait a minute… I think I finally realise what O Face means and now I’m making an O face myself but not that one :-)))))).

This is No Regrets – not precision applied because it was so early in the morning! I hate the cold light of winter – it makes everyone look so grey including me.

This is Drive which I also really like – it’s got a bit more substance to it than your usual ‘nude’ shade. The application is creamy with jojoba esters and squalane and impactful – I haven’t tested for longevity other than a couple of hours since I applied Drive and it’s still okay (although I haven’t had my coffee yet!). They’re £9 each HERE.

It’s about time I tried e.l.f and I think these lipsticks will persuade me, they look beautiful and the colour Pleased looks right up my street.

Yes, they’re great – cannot complain at all x

It seems that e.l.f are doing some more dupe type products recently. These look very like those Nars ones everyone went mad about with the magnetic lids – same shape too. I have Anita and Anna in the Nars ones. It would be interesting to know if they’ve duped the colours too. Emma x

I never see any NARS so it wasn’t completely obvious to me but now I’ve looked there are definite similarities x
