Intensae Winter 2014

Hmm.. I don’t know about brown nails. I know they all come with lovely, chocolately names, but in reality, they can look pretty weird. I’m surprised to find it in the Intensae Winter 2014 collection, under the name of Paradisco.

The Intensae Winter 2014 collection is inspired by some of our most powerful women in fashion so I really love that aspect of it. So from bottom to top: Muse (named for Donatella Versace), Memo (named for Diana Vreeland), La Fideles (for Yves Saint Laurent’s muse Lou Lou de la Falaise) and the aforementioned Paradisco (for Charlotte Gainsbourg).

My favourite from the range is Memo which has a shot of raspberry behind it – not a classic pillarbox red. I tried out Muse top coat over the other three shades and it had a transformational effect on Paradisco.

In fact, on all of them, but it’s changed that brown into a really beautiful effect. You can find the collection HERE where polishes are EU16 each.

Have you put a topcoat on the this blog as well? It seems a little different. The pictures seem to have gone hi def which is good but I’m not sure I like some of the comments sections. This one is ok but USA editor one looked a bit spartan.

I did brown nail polish (and lipstick – shudder) in the 90s – never again, it’s had its day as far as I’m concerned!
