Intensae is a new polish range that’s 5 Free (i.e. free from the five main toxic ingredients sometimes found in polishes). It’s an interesting range and one that I should think nail professionals will absolutely love because of the fluid consistency – you get a lot of colour in one sweep of the brush. For non-professionals, like me!, the first colour I tried was the one I wanted to work the most – it’s called Verushka and is a very unusual mother of pearl cream shade, but I just couldn’t get it as perfect as I felt it needed to be. Even with three coats, I had some patchiness. But that said, I love a thick polish; for a quick paint and go they are just easier to work with.
So, instead I swapped for Grace, a white gold metallic that is very beautiful indeed (I see beach toes painted in this!). This time, the thin nature of the polish paid off perfectly – I only really needed one coat but because I’m a creature of habit I applied two, and am delighted with the near perfect result. There are some gorgeous shades – look out for Broken Flowers in a mauve creme. Polishes are EU16 and you can find them HERE.
