Oh he,y Illamasqua Glamore Nude Lipsticks! A whole new rack of Glamores in nude loveliness. I love nude lip looks but you really have to identify which is the right nude for you – hopefully, there’s one for everyone in this little lot.
The Glamore texture is more of a satin sheen lipstick but I would say bridges a fine gap between matte and sheen – and as a very basic guide to which nude will suit your tone, cool tones should opt for pink versions, warm tones should opt for browner, more earthy nudes and for a balance between the two, coral nudes are best. Illamasqua Glamore Nude Lipsticks are pigment packed, however, so you’ll get a lot of colour for your slick.
So here we go with swatch shades from left to right: Tease, Minx, Buff, Rosepout, Naked, Starkers, Bare and Cherub. As if to drive home the point that getting nude right is key, I’m wearing Buff and look like a corpse. It has literally drained every ounce of colour from my face. I know now to head to nude corals!
