This is a strange week – my email inbox virtually has tumbleweed blowing through it although there are still a stalwart few reminding me that the January detox is just around the corner. That’s so I can remind you, and make you feel guilty about every single Christmassy thing you ate. So, obviously, I’m not going to.
But, what I am going to do is slow the pace down a bit and just blog when I feel like it or if there is really something to tell you over the next couple of weeks. I’ll be around and about on social nearly all of the time I should think, WIFI permitting.
Christmas falls very differently for everyone, I think. If you’re on your own, make sure you do something that’s all about looking after yourself, whether it’s snuggling down with Netflix, or cooking something special. Try not to stay indoors all day – the best walk is the walk home to grab a blanket and get a good movie going with a box of chocs at your side. Not everyone has the downloadable John Lewis family, who get all they want for Christmas without a single cross word passing amongst them. If you feel tension brewing, walk away: there are 364 other days of the year you can throw gravy. Whether Christmas is something you rush at with excitement or it’s just something you have to get through, remember it’s only one day, and everything will be back to ‘normal’ before you know it.
I very rarely take a blogging break – as you’ll all be aware, it’s an intensive and highly pressured thing to do; my fear is that if I stop, I’ll somehow never quite get going again! But, I am tired – like, really, really tired, so I’m using the Christmas break to get some energy back; things are so constantly changing in social media world that you need all of your wits about you all of the time! So, I’ll pop bits and bobs up if and when I feel like it, and regroup in January, hopefully renewed and ready for 2016.
Wishing all BBB readers (and I will say it a million times over, I have the BEST readers, and I’m intensely proud to have you!) a happy and peaceful time.

Hope you have a good break and if a rest doesn’t ease the tiredness please see a doctor as could be in need of some vitamin D or something this time of year. Best wishes and happy new year.
