Gucci Flora Garden Collection

These new Gucci fragrances are a very welcome addition to the Gucci line-up and for summer might even usurp my favourite Gucci Guilty. Each one is quite different but with the familiar Gucci fragrance signature running through them. Hard to say in words quite what that is, but it is there. The three scents, Gracious Tuberose, Gorgeous Gardenia and Glamorous Magnolia, are all inspired by the flowers depicted in the Flora pattern on the scarf shown and I really like that in this instance there is a fashion reference. Gucci have just signed Princess Charlotte Casiraghi as the new face and her grandmother, Grace Kelly inspired the original Flora print.

If you like your perfumes on the sweet side with a defined floral reference, you’ll probably love these. In the flagship Gucci boutiques, another two scents, Generous Violet and Glorious Mandarin are also available; I haven’t sampled those yet because I’m not hanging out in Gucci boutiques all that much, more is the pity!

The scents are on the pricy side at £72 each but they’re 100ml.

I need to find a shop to smell these. I doubt i’ll pick up any just yet as I can’t justify paying £72 for perfume, even if they are worth it D:
The packaging is so cute though. x

  4. Oooh, I need to get a sniff of these. I’ve never had a Gucci perfume that I wouldn’t repurchase time and time again! 🙂
