So, now I have a little more info on the Givenchy Rouge A Porter but not actually a launch date yet! I think we’re looking at April/May time for these lipstick/balm hybrids. There are 16 shades coming and these veer to the sheer – transparent colour with softening balm, but not super-pigment.
What I love about this – yes, it’s a packaging thing again, is that they’re leather clad (faux) long tubes – something that hasn’t really been done before. I wrote a feature for Howtospendit.com on just how complicated it is to produce a leather clad lip product (it’s here if you’d like to read it) so I’m just kind of really impressed.
The Givenchy Le Rouge A Porter shades above (clockwise from the purple-ish shade) are: Violine Inspiration, Rose Avant Guarde, Beige Mousseline, Rose Fantasie and Nude Ultimate. You’ll get a lot of sheen from these – they’re so shiny in the bullet that you have to look twice to ensure they’re real!
