Well, it’s certainly a day for beautiful palettes! The Givenchy La Palette Nudes Nacres just arrived about half an hour ago, so I’ve gone into full speed action to get this shown and uploaded because, although its official launch (and exclusive) on the Escentual site is on Monday, if you like the look of it, BBB readers can buy it today. But, wait and see if you like it, first!

It’s Givenchy’s take on a nude palette but they’ve given it a shimmering twist which makes all of the difference. The white pan you see is a wash of shimmer (use a fine brush) so you can do a snow-queen style top coat on any of the other shades.

It’s really ALL of the glamour but if you leave out the shimmer, there is a decent nude day look in there as well. Anyway, the all important swatches to follow:

The first shade is my favourite: it’s a warm, golden brown shot with twinkles. The second colour is a matte nude with a hit of peach (I put a peach in my own MUR palette because it’s one of life’s most eye-wakening colours), then a sheeny rather than glittery gilt shade. The bottom row has a deep brown matte, that snow-queen white and finally a lighter, softer brown with nutmeg tones. It’s all relative, obviously, but I feel impressed with this at £45 (maybe because I’ve just shown the Chanel palette at £79!) – it does feel special. It’s HERE.
