Oh, I have found some bargains at George at Asda! I finally caved a couple of months ago after seeing rave after rave review for the George Wondershape Skinny Jeans and bought a pair. Every word is true – they’re super stretchy, soft and flattering and I love them for being such an easy wear.

Usually, in the sales, I get a jumper or two (last sales, a navy blue Cos polo neck and a Cocoa Cashmere sweater) because we still have all of January, all of February and all of March – and who knows, probably April and May as well – that can be classed as jumper time. I’ve found these Fairisles from George that completely fit the winter-woollies bill and are perfect to wear with jeans reduced from £18 to £10 HERE.

Asda’s not my usual haunt because until very recently there wasn’t one near-by. Now that there is, it’s given me the chance to really have good look at George. I’d definitely recommend taking a second glance at the coats – there are some beauties around to put the happy into a horrible February day including the version above, reduced to £15 HERE.

If I was partying in the New Year I’d be so tempted to do that rock-chick chic thing that I’m always so envious of when I see others doing it to perfection. Pile up the mascara, find a white shirt, sparkly ear-rings, black skinnies and some ankle boots and you’re ready to roll! I’m actually talking myself into one as I write!
