Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick

If you knew how difficult it was for these brand new beauties from Estee Lauder to keep still for a photograph I think you would laugh! They’re clicky on opening and somewhere in there is a magnet so when you try to put them all together neatly to photograph, the magnets start working against each other, and they wander off! The Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick is gorgeous, even if it does have a mind of its own… it’s exactly my kind of lipstick in that it’s not too powerpacked, but gives a juicy sheen that brightens the lip.

Basically, if you already love Pure Color Envy Sculpting, this is a lower key version in terms of pigment and it’s very moisturising, too, with micronized Hyaluronic spheres that should be compulsory in every lipstick! The ‘sculpting’ claim on these lipsticks is interesting – basically it comes down to the fact that they’re very good at drawing light to the lip, even though they’re pigmented. I’m not sure it’s sculpting exactly, but it is your lips best chance of looking perfected and smooth without using balm.

Shades I have above are Boudoir Baby, Charmed and Heavenly (from bottom to top), from a selection of 16 shades. At £25 each, Estee Lauder lipsticks are slowly but surely moving up the price scale – stop now!

Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick will be available at Estée Lauder counters nationwide and www.esteelauder.co.uk from March 2015 with a preview at Selfridges and www.esteelauder.co.uk from 16th February.

I’ve already blogged the Limited-Edition Pure Color Envy Shine Nail Lacquers HERE if you want to have a peep – I’ve been wearing them already to bring some spring to my fingertips.

  1. These are very beautiful shades. I’m only recently discovering how great of a brand Estee Lauder is. Also, I hear ya on trying to keep products to keep from rolling around while taking photos! Haha.

Jeeze Louise, I find that to be steep for a lipstick in my opinion but then I am a bit of a cheap skate lol. Love the colours . xox

  3. These look really interesting!

Whenever I see a translucent lipstick I think of the L’Oréal Caresse though

  4. They all look so pretty. Sheer and pigmented at the same time!

I can’t believe how identical Boudoir Baby and Heavenly swatch… hope that doesn’t translate to the lips, otherwise it would be a no-go for the price.

  6. I love these! They are perfect for everyday and for spring coming soon 🙂
