From super expensive, to practically pocket money beauty, these little balms from Essence are a snip at £1.99. They’re also not shy on colour, either (the paler shade obviously less impactful) and have a kind of fruity scent (raspberries?).

There are four colours – obviously the two you see above and a brighter pop of pink as well as a coral shade.

One of the really quirky little things coming up from Essence for autumn is the Nail Tattoo Liner – I haven’t had a chance to try this out yet but from the looks of things you can create designs on your nails, fingers or hands. This feels almost like a Bourjois product actually – but if you’re not arty I guess it could go all kinds of wrong! It’s a £1.99 pot luck product, I think! All the autumn Essence products will be rolling out from August at Wilko and on-line.

Im having a major deja vu moment with the tattoo liner-but wasnt there a similar trend years ago with henna pens or something similar? I’m having flashbacks to drawing henna inspired patterns on my arm with a product that felt like felt tip pens. Regardless i’m still just as keen to try this as I was then! 😀
Interested in the nail liner! If it came in white that’d be really handy for French nails.
