Every year, Elemis gifts catch my attention because my sister is obsessed with the brand. Actually, she has sensitive skin and Elemis is one of the few brands she can use without any reactions. But, actually there’s another reason for this post that I’ve been thinking about all weekend. I had a comment the other day from a reader saying she thinks I hate everything anti-ageing (in a nutshell) and it really made me sit up and listen. Generally, I really don’t like the message overall from the beauty industry that we all need to look younger, better, etc, but that doesn’t mean that there is any issue with wanting to look great, and for some, that’s going to mean looking younger than your years. So, I’ve got over myself, and will cover anti-ageing products going forward with a more open mind but not detract from the overall message that in my view beauty doesn’t have an age! Pro-Collagen is good for mature skin because it delivers a big dose of hydration with clinicals that claim a reduction in lines, increase in firmness and hydration in 15 days. All I can tell you, because I haven’t put it to the test myself, is that my sister has used it for years and swears by it and that’s a recommendation that I am happy to take note of.

Hi Jane, I love Elemis too. I bought this set last week with the day time cream in the rich formula. But for me it’s all about the night cream, it’s really light yet hydrating enough for normal-dry skin and seems to make my skin look better in the morning. Good to buy it on a deal like this as full price is quite high!
