At the risk of repetition, I love a bath! Oils, salts, bubbles – whatever, I’m happy. So, I think I can be a bit of an expert when it comes to what to put in a tub. I bought some salts a while ago from TKMaxx that were so disappointing – some kind of pink salt with bits in that didn’t really dissolve terribly well and we all know the grimness of a gritty bottom feeling! So, when these arrived I just knew by the look they’d be better. And they are – so much so that I would (will) buy in bulk. I guess you could say they’re a dry version of my beloved Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax Oil or Mio Liquid Yoga – you get so much of the aromatherapy from them as well as a light kind of tingle as the Epsom Salts (magnesium sulphate) eases out any sore muscles or aches. If you want to add an extra aromatherapy aspect, pop in some oils.
The version I have is Eucalyptus and Spearmint which I’d highly recommend, but this brand is just on the cusp of entry to the UK so it’s not readily available – I’ve found a couple of versions at HoF (HERE) and some on Amazon (HERE) – both £8. If you’re sore, post exercise or achy, I don’t think it partiularly matters which version you have. This is a basic product done so well that it feels like you’re in a the lap of luxury. What a joy.

I bought those pink salts from TK Maxx too – and they didn’t blooming disolve at all! Was so annoying; every time I used them they left gunk at the bottom of the tub.
lol.. glad it wasn’t just me! I chucked mine out in the end on the grounds that sitting on salty gravel wasn’t the best use of time.
Thanks for the recommendation, Jane, I’ve just bought the lavender version from Amazon. Rather intrigued by the ginger and clay variety though – a lot of mixed comments about the fragrance, but the general consensus seems to be it’s strong!
