Dr Jart Bubble Foam Pore Refine

For skin that needs some oil control, this is a very interesting cleanser. The Bubble Foam is part of a pore refining selection that will hit the shelves in October. So, the actual product itself feels extremely rich and creamy and develops into a low foam, very pliable, relaxed consistency once slightly damp and on the skin. It’s the kind of consistency that makes you really want to just massage and massage and massage over the skin and once washed away, your skin is squeaky clean.

The blurb says that there is a double bubble technology at work.. I’m slightly sceptical about all that – but what you can’t deny is that it is a blissful and novel way to cleanse. While Bubble Foam does give that skin squeak it doesn’t really feel dry or tight afterwards.. just super-clean. It contains witch hazel and Gallnut extract.

I’ve looked up Gallnut on the interwikiweb and it is a strange old ingredient. It’s a plant excretion produced when irritants are released by the larvae of gall insects. I’m sorry but I don’t even want to know what a gall insect is so I’ve ventured no further! Great cleanser though!

  1. Hmm, sounds interesting though! Any differences noticed regarding your pores? 🙂 x

  2. This is already available in my (very) large local Boots store, along with other Dr. Jart skincare products!! I wanted to try them all, they look so interesting, but need to read reviews first, they’re on the pricier side!

I just noticed my pores were not in good shape yesterday so I might be doing a little run down to Boots for this myself today. Thanks for your reviews 🙂 Love all the tips!
