Creed is just one of those brands that hits the spot every single time – one of my favourite all time scents is Creed Virgin Island Water for its ability to truly smell of the inspiration behind it. Created by Olivier and Erwin Creed to capture sailing off the Caribbean, you get a blast of warm flowers and spices, wet, tropical and salty oceanic notes and somehow sunshine, that puts you right on that sailing boat. But £52 for a deodorant? Really? And yet, I kind of want to. It’s HERE

I saw the picture and thought, “that has got to be the most beautiful deodorant on the planet”. Then I scrolled down and saw the price. People are crazy!

This seems a misstep to me. If I were running a high end niche fragrance brand, the last thing I would want is to create an association between my fragrances and the sort of ‘clean’ utility cheap aromachemicals that go into deodorant. Luxury products like candles and body creams yes but deodorant? That’s Lynx territory. And £52 is insane.

i wouldn’t personally but i dont find it too outrageous. they’ve discontinued my fave facial cleansers which upset me more than anything and right now i’d be prepared to pay 50 quid for one more bottle. sentiments have no price, but yet again i’ve not ‘bonded’ with this deodorant so maybe not x
