I’ll say first up that I have NO idea if this works or not but in theory it’s such a great idea! I spotted the Comb In Hair Chalk on ASOS – it’s not especially expensive at £6.50, but a great way to try the chalk trend. As long as your hair isn’t tuggy this has the potential to make temporary colour streaks extremely simple and even. I like putting colour streaks in my hair – in fact I’m going to go and do it as soon as I’ve finished this post – and the one that works the best for my dark brown hair is the L’Oreal Professionnel Hairchalk Color Polish but it’s bolder rather than pastelly like the Comb In above.

For the comb in version, you will get a better result on light hair, I imagine but for any shade, it’s a good try before you commit to the real thing beauty toy. The L’Oreal Liquid Chalks are £12.75 HERE and the comb in is HERE.
