It’s always an absolute pleasure when you can recommend make-up that doesn’t cost a fortune. I still have to do a double-take at the £30 lipsticks and I’m always highly aware that budgets for many don’t stretch that far. They might be all things covetable, but big spends on beauty just isn’t necessary when we have amazing brands like Essence, Makeup Revolution and Collection, above, that give exactly the same look as any pricy brands without the big money layout.
So, Collection Speedy Blush is just a delight at £3.99 – it’s a Chubby-a-like cream blush that has plenty of pigment, and crucially, isn’t so creamy that it doesn’t stay around. It’s more matte than anything which makes it stay around far longer than many creams I’ve tried and there’s plenty of pigment so I imagine it will last for ages because you really don’t need much to get colour onto your cheeks.
The two shades I have here are Tickled Pink and Cheeky, which is the more lively shade. Collection Speedy Blush launches into Superdrug in April so if you see it, grab it – it will see you well through the summer.
