Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour and Sculpting Highlight are basically contouring made foolproof. Personally, I like a sheen and these both deliver that look without tipping over into shiny. The secret is in the blending (you don’t need both, by the way – I have a feeling that Sculpting Highlight might get left lonely on the shelf) which will make all the difference to the finish.

Florrie White is giving advice on how to use the sticks (I worked with her on an Olay campaign and she is lovely with a wealth of make-up knowledge). So, tips from the top are:
– To flash-highlight, dab Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight across the top of each cheekbone, down the bridge of the nose, in the middle of your forehead and in the center of your chin. Blend well with fingertips.
– To make cheekbones chiselled: Suck in cheeks and swipe Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight across the top of each cheekbone and Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour underneath each cheekbone. Blend well with fingertips.
– To slim and shape the nose: Use the side-edge of Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour on either side of the nose, and then apply Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight down the bridge of the nose. Blend well with fingertips.
– To define the jawline: Dot Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour along the jawline and blend down.
At all times, you are looking to blend the lines into shadows.
Chubbie ContoursThe contour stick is much darker than I expected – but it blends like a dream; I’d suggest going extremely lightly at first and not doing a massive great swipe like I have for the swatch! I think the most delicate swiping will be the most successful. I’ve used this on my cheeks as more of a blush effect and it gives ‘holiday cheeks’ – like you’ve just seen a little bit of the sun. I will probably pike out of the entire contouring thing and love this as a creme blush instead, but I will give contouring a proper go!
Overall, you don’t need to be an experience contourer to make Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour and Highlight work for you, but be sparing with the application.
To recap on launch, it’s 6th February and both Chubbies are £19 each.

To me the contour shade looks a bit too warm and ‘bronzer-like’ to work as a good shadow creator – it looks to me more like a cream bronzer in a stick – that’s a shame as a good, ashy stick of contour would be awesome!
Very excited for these!
Those sound like wonderful products. Unfortunately the sculpt shade is a bit warm for my taste
Now these are really exciting! Clinique seem to have this stick formula nailed!

I can’t wait for the Contour shade! It does look a little bit warm, but I think I’m willing to sacrifice the shade slightly for a bit of convenience!
Wow I’m surprised to see the contour shade run so dark! I was honestly expecting it to only be pale gal friendly but it looks like it’ll work for a variety of skin tones. It may still be too light for me but it’s a step in the right direction! I hope these sell well so Clinique can add more shades soon
hmm not to sure about the colour.
Love this idea! Will make contouring so much easier!
I have suuuuch a bad relationship with ANY bronzer(((
