I’ve just got hold of some more of the coloured Clinique Mascara in Massive Midnight, Two Ton Teal and Portly Plum, so have popped them onto some falsies so you can see the colours. I am using Black Honey daily (not swatched but will do over the weekend) and am a little bit obsessed with it at the moment. Big, big lashes with just a hint of dark red wine to them. Lovely.

First up is Two Ton Teal – suggested eye shades for this one are blue and hazel.

Massive Midnight is suggested for brown or green eyes.

Bear in mind, I haven’t gone for tidiness here – I’ve just tried to get enough product on so you can see the shades.

The Clinique Chubby Lash Fattening Mascaras launch on 31st July for £17.50 and they get a huge (fat?) recommend from me – I love them.

    I’m definitely on the look out for these. As an aside Jane, do you know of any product that would help with a lash bald spot after a botched eyelash tint two years ago?

      Gosh, if they’ve completely gone and haven’t come back in two years, I am not sure there is anything. The lash growth products really do work, but it’s worrying that they haven’t come back at all in that time. When I accidentally (with a brow wax strip) tore out some of my own lashes and left a gap (I know.. ) I used liquid liner to give the illusion of blackness so the gap wasn’t so obvious.

    Hello, I was wondering if the Chubby Lash in Black Honey is a similar color to the YSL Burgundy mascara. Have you had a chance to compare them? Thank you

        From the picture swatched it does seem similar to the YSL Burgundy but hopefully won’t dry up so quickly. I will definitely be buying this version. and yes, it does look very odd when you are removing it. D xx

    I’m with you 100% on this, Jane. Bodacious Black Honey is my current obsession. Leaving burgundy faves from YSL, byTerry & KIKO waaay in the shade. I usually find coloured mascaras either excel at colour or excel at quality of mascara but Chubby Lash is the first I’ve found to excel at both.

    Can’t wait to try t’other two now! x

    As I have blue/grey eyes with flecks of green (like a green tiger’s eye stone) none of these shades really seem to be made for me so I guess I’ll stick to black……………….!

    I am so excited about this mascara, I can hardly wait until it gets to Germany! I love the chubby lipsticks, I love their names, I love the Black Honey Almost Lipstick, I totally trust Jane, so I’m fully prepared to love this mascara and stock up on it too! 😀
