[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I think Charlotte Tilbury has come up with an absolute winner with the Sun-Kissed Glow Bronzer. I was prepared for it to be on the too-much side but it’s not – it’s wonderfully subtle, blends impeccably and gives you the ‘bonne mine’ skin that we are all hoping for in summer.

I just took this quick snap on my phone this morning (ironically, in my jumper because it’s so cold!) and I think it gives you a very true effect. I used the number 3 method of applying (start side of face above cheekbone, trace a 3 through to your cheeks and back out to finish with a sweep at the jaw line) – I could add more for a stronger look but this just works so nicely as a tone elevator. I’m not wearing any blush and my base is Chanel Water Tint which is very light.

The actual product looked a bit muddy in the compact, hence my surprise that it goes so nicely onto the skin. It’s absolutely weightless in a melty cream formula. I want to say that it’s a dry cream but that’s not quite right – maybe a cream veil. I’d just as easily wear this on bare skin as I would with a base.

I’m going to list the key ingredients but as we know, CT is the master of marketing speak. Hyaluronic acid, Sunshine Provitamin D3 which converts to Vitamin D on exposure to sunlight for an even, sun-kissed glow (I do not know how this works or even how it could, but…), Finely Milled Pearls (luminosity), Elastomer Elastic Polymer for glow-glide texture (true about the glide!), Soft Focussing Silica (smoothing), Film-Forming Resin like a magic shield that seals in the skin care benefits (your guess is as good as mine), Silky Polymers (even skin). It is a silky feeling, light as air texture that looks very natural on the complexion. It’s a big recommend from me and an excellent one to choose if you are new to bronzing or not really sure what you’re doing. It’s perfectly okay to use it just like a cream blush if you want without worrying about finding the parts of your face ‘the sun naturally kisses’. I have used Shade Fair/Pale and my olive tone is quite warm, which is probably why it’s turning out so natural looking. It would be my suggested choice unless you are deep toned. It’s £42 HERE but will see you well though the entire summer.
