I love a hair mask; anything that gives my hair some extra shine is always a bonus.. but what I really don’t like is the whole ‘shower, wash, add masque, get out of shower, hang around for half an hour, get back in shower and rinse, get back out of shower and get dry’ routine. It’s an absolute pain…especially in winter, who wants to be jumping in and out of the shower?
I’ve been using Phyto Subtil Elixir which is a wonderful pre-wash conditioner, and I’m pleased to find a slightly more purse friendly pre-wash treatment from Charles Worthington Salon at Home. Diamond Shine Gloss Treatment is used on dry hair and left for ten minutes before you even begin to shampoo – better still if you have a shower cap you can bung on top to keep the heat in and help the treatment work even better.
It definitely works to make hair feel softer and look shinier than if you shampoo and condition without out it (although I am raising a brow slightly at the inclusion of ‘powdered diamonds’ because I am not sure why you’d bother – they don’t really add anything at all) and therefore, because of the ease of use it’s a definite recommend from me. It’s suggested that Diamond Shine Treatment is used every other wash but I’ve been using it every wash (note that I don’t wash my hair every day) and it is certainly helping with texture and sheen without overkill.
It’s nicely priced at £12.99 and a little goes a long way. You can find it in Boots.

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
