[productsample/affiliate] When it comes to cooling make up products, these little domed blushes from Chantecaille are best in class.

Chantecaille Summer Blush

There are three shades – I have Gladiola here (above) and it’s little wonder they’ve sold out on the SpaceNK website, even at £38 a pop.  The Aqua Blushes, as the name suggests, use a high water content to create the cool-feel so as the water evaporates from your skin, you get a chilly sensation. I’ve used plenty of these because it’s not a new concept exactly, but these are easily the best I’ve tried, not least because the cooling sensation lasts for quite a long time while in other formulations the cool feel is fleeting.

The pigment is tint level – you won’t get more than a light, translucent flush with this and that’s such a lovely summer look anyway.

The bronzer is available in two shades – I have Goa above which is the right shade for me. It’s also £70 which puts it firmly into luxury territory, pretty as it is. It seems to be shimmer free but still has an illuminating element so what you get is a look that’s glowy rather than sparkly. It is super-silky – completely weightless really.

I know the bronzing powder looks dark in the swatch but it’s very natural when buffed onto the skin – and you need a little more than you think you will. You can find both products HERE, non aff HERE.
