I feel a little bit guilty that I have taken so long to blog this gloss that has been in my bag allll summer. When it comes to gloss, many of the premium brands are all much of a muchness, but this one really is superior. Chantecaille Luminous Gloss is so soft on the lip and when brands talk about ‘comfort of wear’ it’s usually nonsense, but not here. It really is comfortable and definitely doesn’t dehydrate the lips.

Mango is that deliciously peachy orange that enlivens the complexion but it’s sheer enough that it doesn’t overpower the face. There are tiny glimmers in it that aren’t at all obvious – no glitter-tray lip with this – and it’s a good-stayer as well. Gloss staying power is a bit of a contradiction in terms – it depends a lot on whether you lick your lips a lot – but it’s up there with the best of the stayers in as far as gloss can be. And, it’s not scented. Yay!
If you don’t yet have a holiday treat gloss (and it is a treat at £27), I’d highly recommend. Chantecaille Luminous Gloss in Mango is low on stock now, but I’ve tracked it to Liberty HERE.

This looks and sounds so gorgeous, and I love anything Mango! I love the colour it’s so strong and such a beautiful shade. I love it. Beautiful post. Katie x

I absolutely adore Chantecaille’s lip glosses…they are luxuriously sticky but without being annoying and they last way longer than most other premium glosses. And ‘Mango’ is the epitome of summer (if summer ever returns?!) xx
I am a massive fan of everything Chantecaille and lip related. I even sometimes wear them at night instead of some other form of lip product because they will keep my lips moisturised all night and not fade away (if I don’t use lip protection at night my lips are cracking and bleeding the next AM)!
I think this is one of the few brands that are genuinely worth every penny.
