Ombrees Perlees de Chanel |
This is one of Chanel’s strongest collections to date because the colours are so perfect for all tones. In particular, Ombres Perlees De Chanel palette is exquisite – the shades are so pearlescent but with no chunks of glitter and produce the most beautiful sheen. Blanc Perle, Rose Porcelaine, Violine Clair, Gris Vert and Gris Noir and blur together gorgeously for a smoky look. I’ve swatched the shades so you can see just how the sheen is. It’s £39, which I don’t think is too bad for Chanel.

Le Crayon Yeux Gris Scintillant |
Also on the swatch is Le Crayon Yeux in Gris Scintillant, which I’d say is probably the least impressive as its a colour that is easy to dupe from elsewhere and therefore avoid the £16.50 lay out.

Levres Scintillantes in Nakkar and Aragonite |

Les Vernis in Pearl Drop, Black Pearl and Peche Nacree |
Also on the swatch is Le Crayon Yeux in Gris Scintillant, which I’d say is probably the least impressive as its a colour that is easy to dupe from elsewhere and therefore avoid the £16.50 lay out.
The glosses too are delicious, although a little high on sparkle for my taste, and nails are fab in Pearl Drop, Black Pearl and Peche Nacree – my favourite being Peche Nacree. You have to hand it to Peter Philips, Global Creative Director, for always finding a relevant reference to Coco Chanel herself. This collection is inspired by her love of pearls.
